Y’all. I’ve been vlogging (somewhat) consistently for about a year now. I feel like I’ve come a long way. When I started I didn’t know how to customize my thumbnail. I didn’t know what PicMonkey was. I didn’t even know how to do any editing. Like, to the point that if I messed up on filming I’d start the recording over because I didn’t know how to cut anything out. It was bad, folks, it was bad.
But I learned. And Learned. And Learned some more. I watched a lot of Youtube tutorials. I learned what Booktube was. I bought PicMonkey and spent endless amounts of time fiddling around on it. I discovered the joys of editing, and when I say joys, I mean joys. Do y’all know what I often want to do when I have a little bit of time to relax? Yep, that’s right. I want to edit a vlog because it’s downright fun for me to watch it all come together.
I’ve come a long way, but there’s obviously still endless amounts of distance to cover before I’m a pro at vlogging. Still, the learning curve has been fun and steady and I’m thankful for that. I’m also thankful for all of y’all who watch my vlogs.
As I go forward with vlogging this year, I thought it would be helpful to hear some feedback from y’all. Therefore, I put together a short survey and it would be really helpful if you could take two minutes and fill it out. Thank you!
