O is for Opportunity

For the A to Z challenge this year, I’m posting about one of my favorite things: Living the life you were born to live. I’ve been so blessed with a family that constantly encourages me and builds me up and I want to pass that along to y’all! I’ll be traveling a lot during the month, so some of the posts are scheduled ahead of time and answering comments might take some time. I’ll try and keep up though. Thanks for stopping by!

O is for Opportunity

A to Z Challenge
Opportunity. What a beautiful word. It’s filled with so much potential, so much promise. The definition for opportunity is “a set of circumstances that makes it possible to do something.” People, we all get opportunities each day. Most aren’t huge, but when compounded over time, every little opportunity that you grab and decide to do something with, add up into something amazing.

When was the last time you decided to sit down and chat with your sister? Or what about writing or calling a grandparent? What about exercising, not eating that bit of junk food, or exchanging chips for carrots? What about spending a minute in prayer instead of checking your Facebook? Each of these are ‘little’ things, but can add up to be big.

Today there are tons of opportunities out there, just waiting to be grabbed ahold of. Some are itty bitty ones, some are medium and a few times in life we get really huge opportunities. The thing is, some opportunities never come again and often times, it’s the little opportunities that help prepare you for the big ones. And believe me, y’all will want to be prepared when you see one of those big opportunities zooming by!

What are you doing today to prepare for when one of those big opportunities come along?

OUTSTANDING post, Aidyl! I'm thankful to the Lord for the opportunity to become an author and for the gift He's given me for writing. 🙂

    Have a great day!
