Y’all! Today I’m super excited to be part of the blog tour for the lovely newly released young adult novel, Kiera, by Kate Willis. The book was fantastic, but more about that later.

First stop, let’s spend a little bit of time getting to know Kate with The Rapid Fire Random Ten Interview. Ready, set, go!

1. Sweet or Salty? Sweet
2. Africa or Europe? Europe (at least for visiting)
3. Bright or Pastel? Hmmm… pastel, but if I could choose outside of this, earth tones
4. Camping or Resort? Camping
5. Texting or Phone Call? Texting
6. Ocean or Mountains? Mountains ❤
7. Tea of Coffee? Tea
8. Home or Travel? Home
9. Plane or Road Trip? Road trip
10. Morning or Evening? Morning
And, one long question: What is your favorite way to end each day?
I love to read for about half an hour or longer if I can. It helps me wind down and have something to wonder about as I fall asleep. 😉 Although it can be VERY terrible if the book is too good for me to stop. 😀

She blogs over at Once Upon an Ordinary and I totally recommend y’all checking it out.

Next up, my book review. I wrote a full one on Goodreads, but then decided to also vlog about it because the book really was fantastic.

And last of all, y’all should really check out the amazing giveaway Kate’s doing. Enter the giveaway here. Congratulations, Kate! Way to go with writing a fantastic book!

Second Chances Book Tag {Vlog Edition}

Good morning, y’all!

I got to do a fun vlog with a book tag that Kate over at Once Upon an Ordinary tagged me to do. (Thanks, Kate!) I know I’ve mentioned her blog before, but y’all should really check it out if you haven’t already. In my crazy world right now, her blog is one of the only ones that I read consistently.

And now! For the vlog:

So! I very, very rarely ever tag anyone. But! Today I decided I’d tag Sarah from My Pen and I. I know she’s getting ready for NaNo, so who knows if she’ll have time to answer these questions, but if she does, then I’ll have fun reading them.

I’m also tagging Bekah from Bekah’s Books. She and I have been blogger friends for over three years now, and I’m so thankful to know her. After taking a blogging break for a while, she recently started a new blog, so it’s fun having her back in the blogging world.

Also! Any of you who want to do the tag, please feel free to. AND, if you do do the tag, please comment with the link to the post so I can check it out! 🙂

The questions:

  1. Name a book you expected to dislike but ended up loving because you stuck with it to the end.
  2. Admit it–we all judge books by their covers. What is one book you’ve given a try and enjoyed despite a less-than-appealing cover?
  3. Ranting opportunity! Which author are you forever mad at for denying a character their second chance? Talk about it. 😀
  4. Do you have a favorite book that includes a theme of second chances?
  5. Bonus question: Name a favorite fictional romance that only succeeded because the characters were willing to let go of their first impressions and move on.

Thank You

Figuring out how to blog on WordPress has been a stretching experience, and I’m still in the middle of the learning process. Today is a lovely frost-covered November experience that will probably find me curled up with a mug of tea, Christmas music, a candle burning, and the WordPress for Dummies book. (Not even kidding, folks.)

In the meantime, thank you so very much for everyone who has supported me with moving Noveltea over to WordPress and my very own website. *cue happiness* All of your comments, follows, and shares mean a lot. Plus those of you who have emailed back and forth with me and helped me figure it out… wow. Thank you. (Especially Kate who I’ve frantically emailed more than once.) Changing platforms has been something I’ve been working up the courage to do for a couple years now, and having finally made the jump is very good, but still scary.

Make sure y’all enter the Rafflecopter giveaway (there are ten prizes, including a $25 Amazon gift card), if you feel so inclined. And, of course I would be beyond thrilled if you follow this new blog and share the word. (Like, imagine me doing little happy dances every time I get a new follower.)

As you can imagine a lot of my writing work is currently focused on this site, and other than a minimal amount of writing, I haven’t really done much else on writing this week. Next week I’m hoping to continue working on my blurb and such for When Life Hands You LymesUntil then, have fun exploring Lydiahowe.com and thank you, once again, for stopping by!
