Today was one of those bright, sunny, warm spring days that makes me incredibly thankful to live in a state that hosts the perfect balance of all four seasons.
The grass is a brilliant green, the sky a deep blue, and I’m currently rather red. I was able to go out and cut grass for the first time this year and I had no clue how bright the sun actually was until after I came back inside, took a short nap and woke up stiff with a sunburn.
This year is going to be a vastly different one for me compared to other years, so I treasure each day where I get to soak in the normal. I’m enjoying making memories, watching the season blossom, and delighting in the palate of colors that I feel like I’m watching a timelapse of an explosion around me.

Well, Lydia, I guess you live in the part of the state that has all four seasons perfectly balanced. That’s not really the case over in my corner of the state; we had about three days of Spring before Summer temperatures arrived. 😛

Haha, we’ve had some crazy weather, but for the most part, I feel like that is part of Spring weather here in Ohio. 🙂 I’m thankful it’s not too hot here yet.

If you miss mowing you can come over and mow our lawn. Ha ha.
I’m not sure anyplace anywhere has all 4 seasons perfectly balanced.
