Book Recommendations (Historical Fiction Edition)

It’s always fun to find a list of books to read, right? So, today I’m posting a list of Historical Fiction books (my favorite genre!) I recommend, along with a link to my review of them on Goodreads which makes it nice and simple for you to get a more in-depth view of the book. Enjoy!

Wonderful list! I really enjoyed The Lost Girl of Astor Street (and the author has another book coming out in April) and everything by Kristy Cambron and Roseanna White.
As a historical fiction lover, what are your thoughts on historical fantasy?

YES! I just got to read an ARC of the book that’s coming out in April and I’m pretty excited about it. 🙂
I don’t know if I’ve ever read Historical Fantasy… What do you think of it?

That’s really exciting! What did you think of it (Within These Lines)?
Historical Fantasy is pretty much just stories with fantasy elements like magic and dragons in a historical setting. Nadine Brandes (Fawkes, Romanov, etc) is one historical fantasy author that has gained popularity lately. I appreciate historical fiction that stays true to the time, but still enjoy historical fantasy.
I was just asking because some historical fiction lovers like the genre for the history and realistic feel, and others like it because of the types of stories it tends to tell. 🙂

Within These Lines was pretty amazing because it tackles a really hard subject and does so with grace and a lot of details and facts. It brings that time period alive for sure!
Ah, I’ve heard of those books, but I haven’t read them. I’m not really into fantasy, but it sounds cool!
