Yo. Folks. Today is the DAY! Today is the six-year anniversary of when I first started my blog. Pretty epic, right? That, of course, calls for a celebration, and boy did I celebrate!
Not only did I put together a fun giveaway for you folks, I also documented the “behind the scenes” on my Instagram Story, and I made a vlog where I share my story of how I started blogging, and proceed to make fun of myself in hashtags throughout the video.
If y’all ever wanted to see what I’m really like when I’m excited, this video is a pretty good glimpse of what my family and friends live with every day. It’s very unscripted, unpolished (hence the hashtags), and quite random.

Oh yes, you’ve been around for a while. I remember when I used to read Clever Bunnies a lot, so it makes sense that we would have “met” from that blog. I also used to comment on Kendra’s blog some, too, so maybe it was there. 🙂 Thanks for hanging out on here, and thanks for having beta read!

I have been following your blog for less than six months, but that doesn’t mean I like it any less the blogs I’ve been following for more time! Then again, I haven’t been following writing-based blogs for very long–I guess around two years–so maybe I shouldn’t beat myself up about it. 😉 Plus, I believe I first heard about your blog through meeting you on Goodreads, and I believe I joined in July 2016.
Suffice it to say, I’m glad to read your blog and watch your videos. You definitely make me want to make a blog, or at least an author website. Maybe you could do some tips or something like that sometime?

That’s okay; I understand that you’re not interested in sports, although sometimes I can’t imagine it. 😉 I’m seeing that female authors and sports don’t mix that much. 😛 There may be many sports fans in the world, but I haven’t met any on Goodreads yet. I won’t give up, though! 😀
(Oh, and I was wrong. The games begin Tuesday, but one can fill out a bracket until Thursday at noon.)

Haha! I had never made that connection before, but I guess it fits. Maybe most of us female authors just have our brains too full of books to fit in sports. 😉 I’m sure there are some out there though!
