Y’all, I really didn’t think I’d ever become this person – you know the person who’s morning gets instantly better when she takes the first sip of coffee. But, I just had some coffee and it was so utterly delicious and warm and smooth and all that good stuff – almost as comforting and fun as wearing sparkly socks. (No worries though – I will not become the person who can’t function without coffee. #NotHappening)
Yesterday was Day Two of the blog tour celebration for Where Dandelions Grow. The day included a lot of writing work, babysitting, a glorious sunset, cooking supper while playing Skip-Bo, cotton candy, and a fun game of miniature golf. (Which I soundly lost after an epic beginning where the first hole took me seven strokes. #PlayingLikeAPro #OrMaybeNot)

Beth from Sweet Contemplations reviewed Where Dandelions Grow and says she wishes the book was several hundred pages longer. (Aww! #MakesMyAuthorHeartHappy)
Zielle at The Ardent Reader also reviewed the book and says “I don’t think I have ever read a book that has spoken to me this much, and made me smile so much at the end.” Wow, wow, wow! As someone who has a horrible time with endings, this makes me want to dance for joy.

I have no idea what my favorite season is. 😛 I love Autumn, but I also love Winter because of the weather. Summer is also great to because I have more time to read, I normally go to a dance intense, plus we live close to the beach so we can go there.

It’s between Summer and Fall!!! Summer is amazing because you can ride down the road with the windows down, go barefoot and have cookouts. Ahhh….
But I also love Fall because of the smells (pumpkin and cinnamon!!) and the colors.

Ah yes, but I ride with my windows down far into the fall – including when it’s snowing. 😉 And barefoot? Well, let’s just say I also do that into November most years. Or with just socks. We live on a gravel road and walking down the road with socks on is a fairly normal occurrence for me. 🙂

Summer is the best, I’m sorry to tell all of those Autumn fans. Fall marks the beginning of school, which means less writing time. It’s also the time of year where our pool is closed, so no swimming. 😦 (Fortunately, we haven’t closed the pool yet)

Well, that’s for as long as you’re in school. 😉 But yes, I can see how that would make it less exciting in your mind. And having a pool sounds like fun! Since I don’t have a place I regularly swim anyway, then I don’t miss that so much. 🙂

Well, I would usually just say Spring, because I can get out more because it isn’t too hot or too cold, and the flowers are beautiful, but I also like Summer because I can go to the pool (and have my first ever whipped cream fight) and Christmas, Autumn because the leaves are just GORGEOUS. And Winter, because I can snuggle up and drink tea. (Actually I drink tea in all seasons)
So basically Autumn and Spring are my favorite seasons. 😛

And yes, this last year I think I enjoyed spring more than any previous year.

SUMMER!! It’s my absolute favourite season. Free time, sunshine, bare feet = one happy me! I just love the whole care-free, energetic vibe that comes with summer. That and the chance to go to the beach, which is one of the best things in the whole world. 😀 (And if you bring a book to the beach? That’s even better! :P)
