People! Today has finally arrived! At long last we can celebrate the debut of Where Dandelions Grow. Yep, that’s correct. My sweet little book is live on Amazon. How did it grow up so fast?
Check out Where Dandelions Grow on Amazon.
I may or may not have already looked at the Amazon page multiple times, as well as snapping a screenshot for Where Dandelions Grow’s scrapbook. Okay, kidding folks – not about visiting the page so often or the picture, but I don’t really have a scrapbook for my precious little book.
As with any good birthday party, there’s a bunch of fun stuff taking place at Noveltea and around the web. If you’d like to join in the celebrations elsewhere on the internet, then I’ve got you covered with the links. But first, let’s start out with the gifts.

Or wait, were you thinking you wanted to bring me a gift? 😉 If so, that’s incredibly sweet of you, and pretty much the best gift ever would be for you to buy Where Dandelions Grow for only $0.99. Thank you for thinking about it. 🙂
Around the Internet
If y’all would like to join in the fun, you should totally hop over to these blogs and check out what they’re posting today. (They might not have the specific posts up yet, so you might need to check back from time to time.)
Bella at Worth it All interviewed me and asked questions like “What has been your most embarrassing writing moment?”
Rosalyn at All of a Kind Mom also did an author interview and asked: “If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?”
There are also a couple of book reviews I have to share with you going up today:
Annie at Annie Louise Twitchell
and Kate at Once Upon an Ordinary
Throughout this blog tour I’ll also be having fun posting on my other social media sites, so you might enjoy checking them out: Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, Goodreads, Instagram (I’m totally new here – as in I’ve posted a grand total of one picture), and Google+.
Me working on those last minute details this morning:
And, one last thing before we go! Each day I’ll be posting a question a for y’all to answer in the comments. At the end of the blog tour I’ll randomly draw one of the comments and send that commenter a $5 Amazon giftcard. So, comment away and you’ll be placed in the drawing!
Thank you so much for helping me celebrate! This is going to be amazing, folks!
longest…. hmmm…. it would probably be a book like Pride & Prejudice, which I picked up a couple years ago and then let sit for a loooonnng time before I finally went back to reading it.

Yep, I think that might have happened to me with Pride and Prejudice, too. Some books are just hard to get into. 🙂

Well, I’m still not finished with “Billy Budd, Sailor, and Other Stories” because I only needed to read the first part of it (the Billy Budd part) and I didn’t care to read the rest. I still have my bookmark in it, though, so I want to finish it someday! But that doesn’t really count, because I can’t tell you ‘how long’ because there’s not a ‘how long’ yet. I generally finish books within a few weeks, (usually within one) so if I take a long time, it’s because I took a break. I think I took a while reading a Kidsboro book.

Ah yes, I’ve done that before. This year I bought a book bundle – an ebook with five short books in it. I read the first four but never plan on reading the 5th, cause it’s not the kind of book I enjoy. I generally finish books within days or weeks, but sometimes I set them aside and don’t come back for years. #oops

Congratulations on your publishing, woohoo! confetti Oh, longest reading time… that would have to be the Hobbit. Bought it a year or so back and still haven’t finished it?? 😛 That must be because I’m so distracted with books, I had some ten on my TBR this month, including WDG. 🙂

Aww, thank you! I’ve had fun celebrating – lots of special stuff. I’m excited to post about it tomorrow. The celebration will continue this whole week which is great!
Wow, well, thank you so much for fitting WDG into that stack. I appreciate it!

CONGRATULATIONS on the book!!!!! throws confetti
Probably like two to three months. It was a book that was SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND and I really wasn’t enjoying it, but I made it a goal to finish it! xD

YAY! And thank you for confetti. 😉 Good job for finishing that book, even when you weren’t enjoying it. I know that feeling. A lot of the time if I dislike a book and don’t need to read it, then I just set it aside.

It’s release day! Congratulations! 🎉
Um… the longest it has taken me to read a book is probably a year. 😛 It wasn’t very interested so I stopped for awhile.
I’m looking forward to seeing all of the posts and reviews this week!

Yay! It’s finally released! Squeals Congratulations! My pre-order arrived this morning and I started reading it straight away!:D
Let me see…the longest it’s ever taken me to finish a long book would probably be around five-six months. David Copperfield was one of those, and so was Great Expectations and Mansfield Park 🙂

YAY!!! I am SO happy to hear that! This is my first book that has been out for pre-order on Kindle, so it’s so special to know that it was delivered straight to people’s devices this morning. And that’s great that you started reading it already. 🙂
Hmmm…. I think I spent a year or so reading A Tale of Two Cities. I think I enjoyed it, but I’m not sure I ever even finished it….

Congratulations, Lydia!! So happy to see another one of your books come out! It’s so exciting!
Longest time it’s taken me to read a book? Well my family started reading The Hobbit in October 2015, and we dropped it and still haven’t finished it. Oops! And I started Heaven by Randy Alcorn early this year, and still have quite a big chunk to go due to reading it rather intermittently. 😀 It’s a very good book though, so I really ought to get back to it!

Aww, you’re sweet, thank you! I’m excited to see another one of my books come out, too. 😉
I know what it’s like to take a while to read a book – especially as a family. We’ve done that a time or two…

Hey! Congratulations!!
I just posted our interview today and you can check it out at: https://totallyrandom2017.wordpress.com/2017/09/26/author-interview-with-lydia-howe/
I’m hoping to post the review on Friday. The longest time it’s taken me to read a book was a week- it was quite boring so I felt really unmotivated to read!

Nice! Thank you for the link. It was great getting to answer your questions and an honor to be interviewed on your blog.
Good job with reading quickly!

Lydia! So exciting! This book is going to be available to order from the library right? It’s not just a Kindle version on amazon?
Super happy for you! Congratulations! trumpets sound as confetti erupts

Yes, and the longest it’a taken me to ever finish a book is probably maybe two to three days. Even the hard ones. Tale of Two cities and Great Expectations took me the longest, like three days, reading all evening, but I’m still listening to the audio book of The Mysterious Island. Does that count?

Aww, thank you for asking! For now Where Dandelions Grow is just going to be an ebook, but who knows what will happen in the future? Again, thank you for your interest. 🙂
Wow, good job with reading so quickly! That is amazing. 🙂 Way to go with that!

The longest I’ve taken to read a book is… covers face in shame Probably two or three years! I used to have trouble with southern or British slang writing, so that really made me put books back away!! XD

Yep! I know that feeling! I totally know that feeling! Both the several years and the slang being difficult to read… 🙂

WOOOOHOOOO!!!! 😀 😀 So happy for you! 😉 I think the longest I’ve ever taken to read a book that wasn’t a collection was six months. 😉 But it was a really good book that deserved to be savored, so I have no regrets.

Aww, thank you! It’s been a fun adventure.
And six months? Wow, savoring a book for that long sounds wonderful. What book was it?

It was an edited copy of The Book Thief, and I was reading it aloud to a sibling. 😉 Such wonderful memories!

Yay! The day has FINALLY arrived!! So happy for you, Lydia.
Hmm…as to your question, the longest book I’ve read that’s taken me the longest to read is a book called “To the Golden Shore”. It’s the story of missionary Adoniram Judson and it’s over 500 pages. It took me a while to get through, for sure!

Uh…I actually don’t think I answered that question correctly. LOL The above mentioned book probably took me a few months to read because it was so long. 😀

Yes! The release day has come! I’m celebrating it all week long, and it’s gonna be a great week. 🙂
That is a LONG book! It would take me a while to get that, too! Although I really like nonfiction, it always seems to take longer for me than fiction.

And wow, good job with reading so fast. I read a lot of books quickly, but some take a lot longer for me to really get into, so I keep setting them aside for other books.

Yeah, that’s the same with me. But if I’m really into a book, I can read it in about 2 hours. 😉 Well, depending on the length obviously. 😛
