Aren’t those posts the sweetest? They made me so happy and reminded me of how important it is to be an author, and that what I’m doing can be helpful to those around me. Y’all should totally check out the blogs and follow them if you feel so inclined. (And just look at those blog titles. They’re the best!)
There’s a debate in the writing world about if authors should read reviews people write about their book. I’ve found it to be a great way to learn more about where I need to grow with my writing, so I generally do read my reviews (although I have decided that if I ever start getting discouraged by them, then I can stop).
The reviews for Where Dandelions Grow that have been popping up on Goodreads have been so amazingly encouraging. I keep going back and re-reading them because they make all the difficult times I’ve gone through as a writer feel worth while.
So far all the reviews are four and five stars, which kinda blows me away. I am so glad people are enjoying the book and finding it relatable and interesting. It overwhelms my little author heart with happiness.
Thank you so much to everyone who is supporting me with this book by reading it, reviewing it, talking about it, buying it, or passing the word along. Y’all are fantastic! Seriously – I wouldn’t be a writer if it weren’t for y’all.
