I overslept this morning – somehow I must not have set my alarm correctly, or else I was so tired I just turned it off. So that means this morning is full of rushing, but good rushing. Do you know what it’s like to start out a week by sending out an email that accomplishes a goal?

Just a minute ago I clicked send on the email that sent Where Dandelions Grow out to the last group of people who have signed up. And with that email, I not only hit my goal but actually went over it. *cue happy dance*

(Y’all! Over 100 people are signed up to help with the release of this book! Can we just take a moment to be like “Wow, God, thank You!” and also be like “Wow, Readers and Bloggers around the internet, y’all are FANTASTIC!” because this is totally a dream come true. THANK YOU to everyone who has helped with this!)

A darling puppy I met this week at a friend’s house. 

Getting everything ready for the release of Where Dandelions Grow has been a really fun and rewarding process so far, but also a lot of work. It’s included tons of networking, emails (and emails and even more emails), paying some other bloggers to help me set up reviewers, spreadsheets, Google Forms, emails (and emails and even more emails), and all that great kind of stuff.

One of the rewards of spending so much time connecting with others has been to watch Noveltea grow – in just the last three weeks the blog has grown by nearly 30 followers, which makes my blogging heart happy.

And guess what tomorrow is folks? It’s when I get to reveal the beautiful cover for Where Dandelions Grow to y’all! And the book will be up for pre-order. And we’ll have a giveaway and games and all that kind of stuff. Sounds like fun, right? I’m excited about it!

And now I’ve got to run (literally) to get to my nonwriting job on time, so bye for now, folks!
