Today is one of those mornings where I feel like I’ve been rushing around and around, and yet the day has hardly begun. It’s a good kind of rushing though – the kind that is moving things forward and accomplishing.
July is gearing up to be one of the busiest months of 2017 for me, and the end of June decided to hop on the bandwagon and be busy as well.
As I write this I have a tall list of things to do today with my non-writing job, and my mind keeps jumping around, trying to make sure I remember all the little details. It’s been abnormally cool these last few days, like wear-a-jacket-while-cutting-grass-in-the-morning type of cool. Not having to deal with oppressive heat has felt like a gift.
Because of the busyness of life and my non-writing job I haven’t gotten much reading or writing done recently. I have though, spent many hours mowing with gorgeous views in front of me (like the one above), made memories with my younger siblings, (random ice cream stops? Why not!), and worked at getting caught up with other aspects of life.
This summer is shaping up to be beautiful, packed, and filled with memory-making ventures. It might be a tad bit late to say it, but, Happy Summer, Y’all!
Happy Summee Lydia!
