A. Duck eggs topped with turtle and fish eggs

C. Peppered cod and buttered peas

D. All the above – one for each meal of the day

If you had to travel sneakily, what way would you choose?

A. With a servant who you previously distrusted (which happened to be a good thing since she turned out to be a spy)

B. Wearing a disguise and traveling incognito

C. Accompanied by a witty smuggler

D. All the above

If you were writing a book about princesses what kind of research would you do?

A. Read everything you can find about Princess Kate

B. Look up Prince George and Princess Charlotte while you’re at it and sigh delightedly over their pictures

C. Inform everyone who will listen about the random facts you’ve discovered about the Royal Family

D. All the above

IMG_6185If you were listening to music while working on Echoes in hot Mexico, what music would you choose?

A. Random music from Spotify

B. Random songs from Youtube

C. Christmas music. Cause yeah, Christmas in May? Why not?

D. All the above

If you were to choose a main character for a book, what would that main character be?

A. A princess

B. An identical twin

C. A sword-fighting, javelin-throwing, whip-snapping, and knife-tossing expert

D. All the above

If you were to create a country for the aforementioned main character to live in, what would it look like?

A. New Zealand

B. Portogul

C. The Swiss Alps

D. All the above

I don’t know about the rest of y’all, but I’m going with “D” for each choice. Why not come up with a crazy mishmash of worlds and characters and seafood-ish meals and see what we can come up with? (Spoiler: The answer would be Echoes.)

I like it Lydia. 😃 For the ocean-ish food, I would do rice with spinach and oysters. I tried the dish for the first time on Sunday and it’s absolutely scrumptious.😉

Oooh! Thank you for the recommendation. 🙂 There’s a good chance I’ll use that in the book, although I’m still not sure if they have rice in Kios or not….

Ah yay! Someone else who is partial to the Swiss Alps! I’ve only visited Switzerland for one day, but I thought it was utterly delightful!

We were able to stay up in a little alpine hamlet for three days on this last trip, and then spent the rest of the two weeks in view of them- Just wow. No picture can portray exactly what it feels like to be up in the sky. I’m moving. XD Or at least to somewhere were there are plenty of mountains- my childhood dream was to move to Alaska. 🙂 At least for an upcoming milestone birthday of my mother’s (in three years) we plan to do the Via Alpina, so I’ll get to go back in the (relatively) near future.

That sounds so incredibly wonderful! Wow, and knowing you’re going to go back again? That makes it so cool because then you know you have great memories coming up in the future. #socool
