For centuries whenever echoes were born, the whole family was sentenced to the Island of Outcasts. The Island of Outcasts is a scary place that people whisper about around campfires at night, and older siblings threaten their little siblings into submission with threats of dropping them off there.
Since no one who is banished to the Island of Outcasts ever leaves the island, no one knows exactly what the island is actually like, but wild tales abound. In all probability there’s man-eating reptiles, people living in dirty hovels, and volcanoes that threaten to erupt at any moment.
If only people would go to the Island of Outcasts? Well, they’d probably feel as if their whole world had suddenly flipped.
And that’s all I’ll say for now.

I remember an episode on House Hunters International where a couple were looking to buy an island with a home on it. Way too much trouble IMO.

Thank you, thank you! I’m excited about the idea! It was originally a city, but that just DID NOT WORK. So, I’m excited bout it being an island!
