Character Interview with Madalyn Emerson

Today I have something special for y’all. An character interview with Madalyn Emerson from When Life Hands You Lymes
Aidyl: Hey Madalyn! It’s great to have you with us today. Thanks for agreeing to this interview on Noveltea! Can you start out by telling us a little bit about yourself?
Madalyn: *smiles* My pleasure! Thank you for having me. I’m Madalyn Emerson, the people loving, music enthusiast, craft-challenged daughter of the best parents ever. I recently joined the Ashburg Symphony which is pretty cool cause it’s been a dream of mine forever.
Aidyl: Wow, congratulations! Alright, why don’t we talk about some of your likes and dislikes? Quickly name five things you love about life.
Madalyn: *wrinkles nose* Friends, Music, Freedom, Siblings and Flowers? Haha, those are just the first words that came to mind. It’s pretty accurate, though.
Aidyl: *thumbs up* Great! That’s what we’re looking for, just the things right off the top of your head. Now quickly name five things you dislike in life?
Madalyn: *deep breath* Hatred, Selfishness, Strife, Sickness, and Pain.
Aidyl: I think you and I are pretty alike there. What about Bible verses? What’s your favorite one?
Madalyn: Psalm 92:1-4 It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High: To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night, Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound. For thou, Lord, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.

I love the Psalms cause they’re so much fun to sing and music is totally my thing. Sometimes I’ll make up random tunes to go along with different Psalms and sing along with them. *gives a self-concious grin*

Aidyl: And my next question was going to be What’s your favorite book of the Bible? I think you just answered that though.

Madalyn: Yup! Psalms all the way. Can I try and answer your next question before you ask it, too? *silly grin*

Aidyl: Um, sure, if you want to.

Madalyn: Yellow.

Aidyl: Yellow?

Madalyn: Yeah, I figured your next question was probably “What’s your favorite color?”

Aidyl: Actually, it’s Do you have any nicknames?

Madalyn: Well, I guess I ruined that one. *frowns* And yeah, my nickname is not Yellow. A lot of people call me Maddie, and my family sometimes calls me Madds.

Aidyl: Let’s see, what’s next? *looks down at notebook* Are you more of an inside or outside person?

Madalyn: Pretty much I like being wherever the people are. Nothing beats AC during the summer and a hot fire during the winter though, so I guess overall I like being inside more. I’m not afraid of getting dirty like some girls, but I like the comforts of life a little too much to rough it more than I need to.

Aidyl: Haha, we’re complete opposites there. *glances at the clock* I guess our time’s up for today.
Madalyn: *sighs* Already? *shrugging and smiles* It was fun!
Aidyl: *twinkling eyes* Bye, Yellow
Madalyn: *glares then bursts out laughing* Bye!
Alrighty! What do y’all think? Do you have any questions for Madalyn? Would you like to see more interviews? Or would you rather just find out about her though When Life Hands You Lymes? I’d be delighted to hear your thoughts.

I'm sorry, but character interviews will never cease to make me feel uncomfortable. Like talking to yourself, but your different self. it's weird, man, really weird.
