U is for Unique

For the A to Z challenge this year, I’m posting about one of my favorite things: Living the life you were born to live. I’ve been so blessed with a family that constantly encourages me and builds me up and I want to pass that along to y’all! I’ll be traveling a lot during the month, so some of the posts are scheduled ahead of time and answering comments might take some time. I’ll try and keep up though. Thanks for stopping by!

U is for Unique…

Guess what! You are you and no one else. God created you as an unique person made in His image. He has a life in store for you that no one else has ever lived before. You aren’t your sibling, your boss, your cousin or your best friend. You are you, and you’re exactly the person who’s needed to accomplish your task in life.

You can do things in a way that no one else can do them. You think, feel and have dreams in a way that is unique to you. You are precious and you are special. You don’t have to compare yourself to others, because guess what, they’re the unique them as well.

The Bible tells us that we shouldn’t compare ourselves among ourselves. As long as you’re looking at people who are ‘better’ than you and wanting to be like them, you’re not going to be satisfied with who you are. You are you for a reason and I’m glad that you are!

I think this is one or my favorite posts that you've done on this challenge! Isn't it marvelous how God made us each unique? No two people are the same. I love how creative our God is!

    Have a great day!

    His Princess,

A great post and reminder. Constantly comparing ourselves to others can lead to negative consequences. If we are to compare ourselves to someone, it should be to compare ourselves to God. When we do that, we realized that we will always fall short, but we have His immeasurable love that makes those shortcomings disappear. Through His love and sacrifice, we are made joint heirs with Christ and we are all equal. While we are here, we should use the uniqueness that God gave us to point others to Him.
