R is for Risk

For the A to Z challenge this year, I’m posting about one of my favorite things: Living the life you were born to live. I’ve been so blessed with a family that constantly encourages me and builds me up and I want to pass that along to y’all! I’ll be traveling a lot during the month, so some of the posts are scheduled ahead of time and answering comments might take some time. I’ll try and keep up though. Thanks for stopping by!

R is for Risk…

Taking risk is a part of life. It can be really freaky at time, but it’s needed. How do you learn and grow if you’re not willing to step out and take a risk?

For me as a writer, I have to take risks on myself. It costs a lot of money to get stuff edited, to hire an illustrator, to get a book published and market it. Guess what, I believe in my writing though, so the risks are worth while.

I’m guessing that when you look back at your life, you can see ares where you either took a risk and it paid off, or where you didn’t take the risk and you wish you would have. So, why not learn from your mistakes and learn to step out and take those calculated risks?

Is there anything you’re taking a risk on right now?

If everything came easy and without risk, the success would be a lot less fulfilling. As Bilbo told Frodo….”“It's a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off …” Excellent post, Aidyl. Have a great Monday.

REMARKABLE post! Sometimes you just have to be brave and trust God that He's going to work everything out the way HE wants it to be, not necessarily how WE want it to be. We can always trust that He knows best. 🙂

    His Princess,
