L is for Learning

For the A to Z challenge this year, I’m posting about one of my favorite things: Living the life you were born to live. I’ve been so blessed with a family that constantly encourages me and builds me up and I want to pass that along to y’all! I’ll be traveling a lot during the month, so some of the posts are scheduled ahead of time and answering comments might take some time. I’ll try and keep up though. Thanks for stopping by!

L is for Learning

I’m sure y’all have heard it before, but life is a journey, not a destination. Y’all have probably heard this too, but it’s really important to be life-long learners. I make it a point to spend at least five hours learning each week.

There is so, so much to learn. Sometimes it can be overwhelming thinking of all there is out there, but we don’t need to try and learn everything. Pick a subject or two that you’re passionate about and that will help you grow (for me I spend a lot of time studying writing, self-development and christian apologetics), and then study it! Buy books that talk about it, get audio books, watch documentaries, take notes, find people who know the subject and talk to them about it. No matter where you go or what you’re doing, keep your eyes open for ways to apply it in your every day life.

When you take time to learn something useful, it will help you accomplish your dreams and do great things with your life.

What’s something your passionate about?

I've always heard people say that a day in which you don't learn something new is a day wasted. Christian apologetics are definitely a big passion for me as well. I guess I'd have to say my other passion that I research, read about, drink in, etc. is music. Guitar, piano, dulcimer….among many others. I just love all aspects of music. Awesome post, Aidyl. Have a great Monday!!!
