For the A to Z challenge this year, I’m posting about one of my favorite things: Living the life you were born to live. I’ve been so blessed with a family that constantly encourages me and builds me up and I want to pass that along to y’all! I’ll be traveling a lot during the month, so some of the posts are scheduled ahead of time and answering comments might take some time. I’ll try and keep up though. Thanks for stopping by!
I is for Integrity…
Tom Peters said… “There is no such thing as a minor lapse of integrity.”
My dad said… “You can’t score 98% on Integrity. It’s 100% or Nothing. Integrity isn’t a sometime thing. You either have it… or you don’t. Once you make the Major Decision to be Honest, the Little Decisions automatically take care of themselves.”
God said… “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” (Matthew 8:36)
I want to make sure everything I do is done with integrity. Yes, I want to be a best-selling author one day, but I would never go for it, or anything else, at the expense of my integrity. As my dad says, since I’ve made this major decision, the little decisions I face each day are easy to take care of. I’ve set a standard for myself, and that’s that. Do you know what’s really neat? God blesses those who follow and obey Him, and that’s going to help me far more than comprising my integrity ever could. Yay! 🙂
