Home! // This Week

I’m currently sitting on my chair, a nice, full mug of hot Keurig coffee next to me, freezing cold and snow outside my office window, and my dog, Novel, laying at my feet. Yep, y’all heard it right! We arrived back home! Home. What a beautiful word. I counted it up yesterday and figured out that I’d been home only 18 days so far this year, and I’d been gone 28 days. Yikers!

That, my friends, is Novel hugging me, even if you can’t tell.
She was thrilled to see me.
It’s gonna be nice to get into some rhythm and actually have somewhat of a schedule for the next couple of weeks. My next trip is planned for March 4th, so that means I should have two weeks here at home catch up with stuff. (Yes, that means if I owe you an email, it should hopefully be sent this week!)Β
Here are some of the things I’ll (Lord willing) do this week:Β
*Get caught up with life here, unpacking, laundry, etc…
*Get caught up on emails
*Get back to eating really healthily πŸ™‚Β
*Begin packing my room (we are moving sometime very soon – just down the road a piece)
*Write several thousand words on my When Life Hands You Lymes story
*Find some MG blogs (this is for my Action Kids project… And speaking of that, I’m supposed to give y’all some info on that, aren’t I?)
*Get back into ‘normal’ life here
Ok, so that doesn’t sound like a lot, but believe me, I’ve got an extremely full week ahead of me! I have a couple other projects going on that I can’t really talk about yet, but they are keeping my life quite exciting. πŸ™‚Β
What about you? What do you have on your plate for this week?Β
And this post ended on a happy note as I finished my last sip of coffee… Maybe I’ll make another?Β

The only thing better than the last sip of coffee is the first sip of the next cup. πŸ™‚ It sounds like your week is already full. Hopefully there's some rest in there. I'm glad to hear y'all made it home safely. Enjoy the little bit of time you have at home awaiting the next adventure.
