Life Update =)

Today is going to be a busy day with work. We’re getting ready for a big conference with my job, so I’ll not be spending much time with my writing during this next week. We’ve already been in Florida for about twelve days, and we have around nine days left before we get home. I thought I’d just give y’all a little glimpse of what’s been going on recently:

*I got to spend several days with my sister, her husband and their six children. That was a lot of fun. My eight-year-old niece adores me and declares she wants to be a writer when she grows up. It warms my heart.
*My dad, Grandma and I got to play some cards (a game we made up) on Monday, which was a lot of fun. We really enjoy playing cards together.
*Yesterday our family got to go out to eat with some of our good friends from down here. Their stories are utterly amazing!
*I keep totally forgetting it’s still winter. Some people are like “oh, January went by so fast”, yet I had so much happen in the month that the weather combined with everything I did keeps making me feel as if it’s summer already.
*We finallyΒ got everything done with our passports.
*Yesterday all of my family here in Florida with me watched the debate.
*And… I got the first illustration back for my AK (Action Kids) book. Yay! So exciting! πŸ™‚

What have y’all been up to?

So far, 2014 has been pretty uneventful for me. Last night was a highlight, watching Ken debate Bill Nye. It was wonderful. I loved watching Ken present the Gospel. He did a great job. At the moment, as I've said before, I'm really looking forward to our yearly trip to the museum. I'm glad you're getting a chance to relax some while on your business trip in Florida. I hope you have a great day, Aidyl.

Sounds like you've been having a great year so far! Your niece is so sweet! I hope you had a good time watching the debate. How did you think it went? I had some friends who watched, and although they are for Ken Ham, said if they had been on the fence when watching, they probably would have sided with Bill Nye, because he seemed to have things more put together. But I am sure Ken did his best! And besides, like Ray Comfort often says, β€œWe don't have to prove that God exists to the professing atheist. This is because he intuitively knows that He exists. Every person has a God-given conscience. The Bible tells us that this is the 'work of the law written on their hearts'.” I will have to watch the debate myself. πŸ™‚
Been up to acting! We are performing tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday in our play, The Way of The Lamplighter. πŸ™‚ Have a great week!

    Acting? Sounds like fun!
I enjoyed watching the debate and thought Mr. Ham did a great job! Mr. Nye sounded good as he talked, even when his views weren't correct. Mr. Nye is used to being on TV tons, and so he was able to keep it together, even when Mr. Ham had a really good point that Mr. Nye didn't have answers to. I'm planning on re-watching the debate because I don't follow along the best when I watch something fast-paced the first time.
