Running The Race – Logan

You might have noticed: I don’t talk much about my siblings on here. That’s not because I don’t have a lot I could or want to say about them. It’s more that they have their lives to live, and just because they have a sister whose an author shouldn’t mean their lives are public for everyone else to see.
I’m going to break that trend though for a moment, and talk about my brother Logan. And let’s face it, he’s a pretty cool guy. Here’s a picture y’all have probably seen before, but it’s of me signing a book for him, the first traditionally published book of mine I’ve ever signed. =)

Logan is eight years older and the third sibling above me. The neat thing about our placements in our family is that he’s the middle of five boys, and I’m the middle of five girls. We don’t see each other a ton, but whenever we’re around, he’s always asking me how my writing is going. He’ll talk things out with me, trying to figure out various elements of my stories. He’s actually the one who made part of my book click when I was trying to figure it out – which made for some quick name changes that then made the whole story so much better! He’s also amazing at spreading encouragement and giving hugs when they’re needed.

Anyway! All that introduction, cause I have a great video for y’all to watch. Did I also mention he likes to run and is quite talented in that arena? Well, he is. So, without further ado, here the video is. Really, you should watch it. =)

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finsher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrew 12:1-2

{Hang on tight y’all! I’ve got an extremely special writing-related post coming tomorrow!}
