Making A Writing Challenge For Myself

There has been a lot of stuff going on around here. Last week (right after I posted about the beautiful gray clouds), the rains began descending on our little valley accompanied by enough wind to knock out our electric for a few days.
We also have had some company (during the time the electric was out) and multiple other things going on. All of this to say I haven’t really been in the mood to write, and I haven’t forced myself to, therefore… I’m behind in my writing.

SO! Since there’s some writing that I would really like to accomplish, I decided to set a challenge for myself. I’m going to go pretty easy: 2,000 words by midnight. That normally wouldn’t be very much, but since my writing has been hovering around 100 words for each day this week, it’s going to be a bit of work for me to force myself to do.
Alrighty now. Time to get to work.
What have y’all been up to, by the way?

Sounds like you have a plan. I've been stuck in procrastination mode lately and I am about to take a serious break from blogging and other social media (the Internet completely) & focus on writing. I get far too distracted. Good luck with your word count.
