W is for Winner

I am a winner. God created me to do amazing things and He created you to do amazing things. Being sick doesn’t relieve me of the responsibilities that God has entrusted to me. Yes, they might take longer than if I was brimming with health and vitality, but I don’t use it as an excuse. You can’t let any ‘issues’ keep you back from living the life that God has in store for you.
I am a winner. That doesn’t mean I don’t fail. That doesn’t mean I don’t fall. That means I get back up and keep going. It means that I strive every day to do what I’m supposed to do. Being a winner doesn’t mean that I never wish I was different from I am. It doesn’t mean that I don’t wish I wasn’t sick. It does mean that I use those things as a springboard to learn and to grow. I am a winner, because I am a child of God.
What the wicked fears will come upon him, but the desire of the righteous will be granted. Proverbs 10:24
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. James 1:17
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Ephesians 3:20

This one is really encouraging.. I want to look at the strength God gives us to keep growing, learning, etc.. instead of focusing on the list of things that I need to learn than seems to be getting longer. I want to be able to see who I am becoming. It's going to be exciting seeing what the next thing is I can learn. Thanks for the encouragement Aidyl!
