So, ever since I saw it on about the sixth day of April last year, I wanted to do the A to Z Challenge on my blog.
I thought it out. I planned what my theme would be. I was excited.
Then a couple of weeks ago, it suddenly hit me that I’m going to be in Hawaii for two and a half weeks this month. And there’s going to be a lot going on in those weeks, which means I won’t get a lot of blogging time each day.

Bummer, right? After all, I’d been planning on it for almost a year. Then today, the brilliant thought popped into my mind that I could indeed do it… I would just have to schedule posts!
So of course then I had to nail down what I was going to blog about: My characters? Favorite memories? Recipes? Places I want to travel? Books I’ve read?
None of those ideas conquered though. Instead I decided to turn a subject that I’ve shied away from on this blog into my theme. That decision came from my desire to some day write a book about this subject, and not only a book, but a book with humor. And guys, I’m not sure if you’ve noticed it or not, but writing humor isn’t quite natural for me yet. Therefore I welcome all your feedback, good and bad. Please just keep it friendly.
My subject: Being Chronically Ill
Stop! Don’t run yet! It’s really not as bad as it sounds. Remember, I want this to be amusing as well as informative (although nothing medical). And I promise that it won’t be all down and discouraging. Seriously.
So hold on and wait for the first installment later on today! This is going to be really fun!
And just so you know I’ll qualified, I thought I’d mention that I’ve been fighting with this malady for almost six years. And I’m going to win.
You can schedule those posts to publish when you are on vacay.
Not sure about the chronically ill topic – GL with that one.
Popped in from the AtoZ Challenge.
