Questions for the Meet and Greet
About Me:
I’m Aidyl Ewoh.
*A somebody who can’t imagine life without books and writing.
*An enthusiastic-autumn-clinger who’s dreams consist of hot tea, novels, scarfs, sweaters and brightly colored leaves.
*A country chic who lives in a barn {a very nice barn, mind you!}, and gets inspiration from traveling and experiencing life with her family.
*A follower of God who wants to bring glory to Him.
*A girl who dreams of being a world-changer.
-Where do you write?
I mostly write in my bedroom/office. I have a comfy chair and a bed that’s just right for writing in. (I actually write in my bed more than I sleep in it.) I also sometimes write in the living room late at night after everyone’s asleep and all the lights are off.
-Quick. Go to your writing space, sit down and look to your left. What is the first thing you see?
A shelf with an ipad, kindle, and mirror. Also a painting with my name.
-Favorite time to write?
Late at night. As in 1-3 a.m.
-Drink of choice while writing?
Water
-When writing , do you listen to music or do you need complete silence?
Most of the time I do listen to music. The mood of my writing and the mood of the music are very directly in sync.
-What was your inspiration for your latest manuscript and where did you find it?
Cousins. My sister and I grew up being best friends with two of our cousins. I can’t imagine life without them.
-What’s your most valuable writing tip?
Don’t give up. Keep writing even when you don’t think anything good is coming. Don’t listen to people who tell you it isn’t worth it. Do be very open to good critiquing though!
I don’t always write at that time, but it is my most focused time. =)

Hey Donea! It sounds like you’re pretty close. Have you ever watched ‘Sound of Music’? Do you remember the song about the little white flower? Well, my name sounds just like the first part of that flower, Edelweiss. (The Edel part!) ~Aidyl
