I am so excited to be representing my homestate! Oregon is amazing…and I hope I do it justice:) Thank you for having me guest posting, Aidyl!
1. What is your favorite thing about the State you live in?
Well, I think one of the best things about Oregon is that Oregon has everything. As far as places goes.
desert…
forests…
the gorge…
All within a few hours distance (depending on where you live in Oregon).
Not to mention it’s beautiful:)
Oh and we have Dutch Bros… ::whispers:: just a mild obsession of mine.
2. What (if any) is a common misunderstanding people have about your State?
That it rains non-stop. C’mon, people. No place can rain non-stop! Unless it’s the rain forest or something.
A lot of people complain about Oregon weather. I must admit that yes, it’s different. And it can change its mind on a dime. But ::shrugs:: when you’ve lived here long enough, you just come to accept it. Like I have:)
And I really, really want to go to Oregon’s smallest town. Seriously, people, you can actually BUY it! 😀 heehee How cool is that?
Also, I’d like to go to the Crystal Peak Ranch that’s headed up by Kim Meeder and her husband. It’s down in Southern OR.
To be honest, I’ve been just about all over Oregon, so there aren’t many places that I *haven’t* been. (except what I named above:)

And now for a little about me…
My name is Miss Raquel. I was born in Portland (Ptown), Oregon where I lived for 8 years, and then my family and I moved out to the country (still in Oregon), but more northwest. I am a country girl through and through. I love being outdoors…especially when I’m working with horses (of which I currently have one). I love road trips – especially with friends – and that is one of the reasons that I have been all over Oregon. haha
I blog at God’s Daughter where I write on a variety of different topics. I’d love it if you stopped by and dropped me a comment! 🙂
I use to live in Oregon:) we moved last year. I have been to Crater lake and it is really cool!!
