Ok folks, I haven’t been posting regular posts on here for a while, have I? I miss doing it. I haven’t really been doing very well (health-wise) recently, so that’s me little ol’ problem. I think I’ve mentioned on here before that I have some health issues, and they’ve been kind of trying to take over my life recently. Don’t worry, I’m not letting them, but fighting them has turned into a full-time battle. 😉
One thing that I have to work hard on when I’m not feeling well is remembering to be thankful. Thankfulness (in my mind) is extremely important, and when someone’s lacking in the area, it’s really annoying!
So, some things that I’m thankful for:
1. For all you followers that have been reading my story
2. For family members with patience (I’m good for them to learn on!)
3. Figuring out that being on and off (mostly on) diets for the past five years for my health has actually made being on one not so hard anymore! ::Squeals of joy:: Being very, {very, very, very} low on my sugar, sugar substitutes and gluten intake isn’t nearly as hard as I had thought it would be 😉
4. Stuffed animals
5. Gaither Vocal Band Music
6. Books from the library (and a brother who takes me there)
7. Days when I actually feel well enough to read! ::Singing for Joy::
8. A sister who lets me borrow her ipad for when I don’t have the energy to read
9. Amazing information (on audio) my Daddy gives me to learn from (Ever so important in my life right now, filling my mind with positives is priceless)
10. A family business where I can feel connected and still get a tad bit accomplished, even on the worst days
11. Looking forward to getting a puppy in October, hopefully (We’re looking into one of Marley’s)
12. Laying out by our pond at night, looking at the stars, listening to the whipper-will and talking to my adopted parents on the phone
13. A Mommy with amazing medical knowledge, who can actually understand what the doctors are saying! Wow… And even better, she some how makes sense of what I’m saying, too… Even when I’m like making no sense at all…
14. Knowing that God has amazing plans for my life, and that I can grow closer to Him during hard times
15. The Bible on audio, so I can just listen instead of using non-existant energy to read (I listened to the book of Proverbs at least once a day for all of last week… It’s amazing how the verses pop into my mind all throughout the day now)

So yeah, those were in no particular order, and I hope that didn’t get boring. Seriously, there are so many more things I could write about, but I don’t want this to get too long…
So, what are you thankful for? How do you conquer not feeling well? I’d love to hear from you all… The encouragement of comments is greatly appreciated right now! 😉
Also, if any of you all have pictures that you’d be willing to let me use on my blog (of nature), I really like pictures, but just don’t like taking them! You could shoot me an email at aidylewoh@gmail.com or just leave a comment. (Of course you would get all the credits)
I hope you are feeling better very soon. Thanks for sharing you blessing list. It blessed me, too!

So sorry you're not feeling well 😦 That's such a bummer. When I'm not feeling well I watch TV and sleep. Not too helpful I'm afraid.
And that's a great list to be thankful for! Getting a puppy! So fun! 🙂

I hope you start getting better soon! I know how it feels to be on a diet, I'm gluten intolerant, so I eat gluten-free too! God bless for being thankful for all that you've got!
BY the way, I sent an interview request to you a few months ago, and you never replied yet. Did you get my email? I was just wondering.

Watching TV? Not something I normally do, but spending a week at a conference during the Olympics sure did give me something to do when I wasn’t feeling well. =)
