I just did a guest post over at Rachel’s blog: Don’t Fit In, Stand Out.

Sometimes I want to tell everyone all about my dreams, and then other times I am like “They won’t realize how serious I am, they might make fun of them. They might not believe in me…” And so I keep my dreams bottled up and close to my heart.
I have an amazing family. My parents have taught us to encourage each other and believe in each other’s dreams… And I want to believe in your dream, too.
Some of my dreams are:
- To become a best-selling author
- To help children grow through up-lifting books
- To be known as someone who encourages other people
- To bring glory to God in all that I do
- To have an amazing blog where I can get to know many people

What are some of your dreams?
My dreams are to become a wife and a mother and to bring God glory.
thanks for posting on my blog! I really enjoyed it!

We have some of the same dreams! I also want to write things that are uplifting and encouraging and glorifying to the Lord! I believe that if my heart is truly dedicated to God, then He will give me the desires of my heart, and as of now, writing is a big desire! 🙂

Great post! One of my dreams is to help individuals heal from pain and trauma through my work as a psychologist, and through debunking myths about therapy through my work as an author.

Those are some great dreams! I too, want to be a wife and mother and another one of my dreams is to homeschool my children. My parents homeschooled me, for which I’m very grateful.

It’s amazing how many people out there want to write, but the cool thing is, is so many more people want to read, so we can use all the authors we can get. =) I think it’s really neat that you want to write and sing. I have a friend who does both of those. He’s also an actor.

Wow Brooke, for some reason, I think I could have guessed all those things by looking at your blog. I think it’s pretty neat that your blog shows your personality/dreams so well. You have a great blog, and I think you’re already beginning to help make changes through it.
Keep up the passion for the things you love!

Hey Kiri Liz! It’s pretty cool that we have some of the same dreams. To me, reading good, uplifting books is something that nothing else compares to… So why not write them? I think I’m going to have a writing contest sometime, and I hope you enter it! Keep writing and don’t give up!

{P.S. If you want to email me, and tell me more about where you are in your writing journey, I would really enjoy hearing from you! My email is aidylewoh@gmail.com}

Wow, Amani, those are some pretty cool dreams. I like them and look forward to seeing where you’ll be in a couple years from now. I know dreams can be so much work… But if you just keep moving forward, eventually people will start to see progress. =)
