My Amazing Moment

You all, I’ve got a great idea. And I need your help. You know what it’s like to feel like you were suddenly hit with inspiration, right? I mean you can be doing any sort of tedious task, an every-day-somewhat-boring job, when out of the blue (why is it called ‘out of the blue’, anyway?) this idea plops down into your head, and you’re like “Wow! I’m so smart!” Yeah, like sometimes people call it an “Ah-ha Moment”.

Alright, now that I’ve got you all hipped up about this, you’re probably going to have a very huge and unhappy case of let-down when I devolve the news of what my idea really is. If that’s the case, don’t be mad at me. Really, I’m thrilled about the idea.

I have so many amazing things going on with my writing right now, and between those things and all the ideas I’ve been getting for my blog, my mind has been going on full-throttle. Like so much so that I didn’t get to sleep until five this morning. Yeah, that’s kinda not good for people, if you didn’t know. (Missing so much sleep, I mean, not getting good ideas.)

So, since I’m so excited about this idea, don’t be disapproving of it, even if you think it’s a dud. Actually, I’m kind of figuring that it’s already been used before, but I’ve never seen it, and I’m not going to look it up, because I don’t want to be copying anyone. (I actually first got the idea from this post.)

Kentucky
As I mentioned before, I’m going to need your help. Like big time. As in, if you all don’t want to help me, then there’s no use in doing it.
Should I cut out all this talk now and just get down to it? Do you all want to hear my idea? If not, you might want to stop reading, ‘cause I’m going to tell you now. Like as in NOW: The 50/50 Jaunt. That’s what I’m calling it.
Ohio
Want to know what it means? Well here it is: 50 States, 50 Bloggers. That’s my idea.
(I mean, there are 50 states, right?)
(And yes, I am joking. Lack of sleep, you all.)
Montana
If you all are game, then what I have in mind is that I’ll have a twice-weekly trip (Jaunt) on my blog. What I need is for a blogger from each state to email me, and then they’ll be a guest blogger. I’m going to add a page to the top of my blog about it, and hopefully it will be up there by the time you see this post. (Or soon after. Please do check it out when it gets up!)

Alaska

I just thought it would be a totally cool way to get to ‘meet’ bloggers from all over the USA.
Just think, it will be something to look forward to, twice a week for 24 weeks.
Or wait, that would be 25 weeks, wouldn’t it? (Lack of sleep, again.)

Florida (I think)
So, what are your ideas? And I guess you can tell me if you think it’s a dud, ‘cause I really want to know. Anyway, check back in soon! I hope you all enjoy this journey as much as I’m planning to!

Georgia (I think)
(All pictures in this post taken by Kay Davis)
Hey! Hey! Hey! Did you notice that most of the pictures are from different states? I did that so you could get a little glimpse of life across the USA. Fun, right? And by the way, this is how I get when I’m lacking sleep. Just ask anyone who knows me. Better yet, let’s just NOT ask them.
(And yes, I was waiting all day yesterday to do this post. So please, at least act as if you like it.)

Thank you for emailing. It’s too confusing to try and keep track of people who want to do it with comments and emails, so I’ve just chosen emails for this idea of mine. =)
