I can’t imagine life without books.
I’ve tried to picture it, but not for very long, since it’s a rather depressing thought.
Think about it, where would we be without books?
This morning I was looking at the number of books
I’ve read on my kindle since I got it for my birthday in September.
I’m not sure of the total number, but it’s somewhere around 60.
So that made me wonder how many books I’ve read altogether since September,
Including paperback/hardback books.
I had started writing down a list in November of the books I was reading, so I found that list.
Well, it turns out I only kept the list from November 8th though the 15th,
And in that time I read Eighteen books.
Those books weren’t long books though, most of them averaging about 130 pages.
*We were on vacation during that time, so I had more time to read*
So then I went and looked at my bookshelf
(Which is an old beam on my bedroom wall, right above my secret door. Remember, I live in a barn 😉
And I counted all the books I could remember reading since September.
I came up with over a 100 books altogether, and I’m pretty sure I must have missed some.
I read a wide range of books from
Lucy Doesn’t Wear Pink
A kids book by Nancy Rue with 245 pages,
Everyone Communicates, Few Connect
A 250 page book by John C. Maxwell
By L.M Montgomery, who wrote the Anne of Green Gable Books
I read kids books
Books to help me learn about God
And the list could go on…
So, how many books have you read in the last eight months?
Do you keep track of them?
Which ones are your favorites?

I like hearing what books other people are reading,
so then I can have a bunch of new ideas for myself…
Well, I hope this wasn’t too long of a post. =)
